Current Projects

The St. Albert Historical Society is currently engaged in two significant community undertakings.

  1. A Bridge Over Time – The Continuing Story of St. Albert is a publication recapping the original St. Albert History as told in Black Robe’s Vision published 30 years ago as well as updates to present day St. Albert. For more info click here.
  1. Installing  historical storyboards on The Mission Hill as extensions to the current Founders’ Walk historical interpretation program. Begun in 2014 and expected to conclude in 2018, the series will include a total of six interpretive signs relating information on The Church, The Mission Bells, The Crypt, The Grotto, The Historic Cemetery, and the Holy Family Seminary which is the precursor of today’s St. Joseph’s Seminary in Edmonton
